After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply the basics of project communication and name the framework conditions of cooperative project execution.

Students will also be able to define different terms of digitalization in construction and describe the respective use of BIM, CDE and sensors.

Based on the seminar "Construction Process I", the basics of construction project management and integrated management systems will be discussed. A focus of the seminar is on the cooperative construction project management. The basics of project communication are presented and highlighted with practical examples.

Another focus of the seminar is on the construction aspects of digitization. In particular, BIM - Building Information Modeling is presented from a construction perspective. Common cloud-based work platforms are introduced.

The methodological structure of this LVA is as follows:     

• Lecture part     
• Self-study of selected subchapters of the lecture scope     
• Self-study of additional specialist articles matching the scope of the lecture
• Discussion in the lecture
• Written review of the learning success in the form of a TUWEL-exam

Due to the Covid-19-pandemic, physical presence in the classroom is not possible.

Participation via Zoom for all units is mandatory for all students. Students who don't show up at the first lecture without excuse will be removed from the course!

The proof of performance is based on the seminar papers, presentation materials, presence and active cooperation in class.
