Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

  • to differentiate between the eligibility bases and eligibility requirements for a supplement
  • state basic definitions of supplement management
  • identify the risk factors of a construction project
  • formulate and calculate supplements
  • explain judicature on ÖNORM B 2110
  • explicate methods for the determination of additional costs in case of disturbed bend sequence

 

Subject of course

In four theoretical units, the fundamentals relevant for supplement management are dealt with and the contractual and economic effects of changes between actual and target construction are examined. Within the framework of a seminar paper, the students will then apply the acquired knowledge on the basis of practical examples and present the results in the form of supplementary negotiations.

The methods used to achieve the learning outcomes are:

  • Lecture with the possibility to pose questions
  • Elaboration of a seminar paper
  • Self-study

Additional information

In order to participate in the seminar, attendance at the first lecture unit is required. If registered students do not attend the first lecture session, they will be deregistered from the seminar. Students who are on the waiting list and present will take any places that become available.
