After successful completion of the course, students are able to...

• ...write a detailed summary of the content of a lecture.
• ...to carry out scientific research on specialized presentations
• ...to read subject-specific literature, to reflect on it, and to incorporate it into a seminar paper.

The course will take place in the framework of the Industrial Building Seminar 2022(18.05.-20.05.2022). The lectures will focus on the following topics: The teaching of problem-solving strategies in the implementation of industrial construction-related topics, production in the city, sustainability in industrial construction, etc. Providing a basic understanding of the various focus areas and specialist terminology.

In this course the expertise of specialist planners will provide insights into the practical implementation of complex projects from the perspective of renowned companies, engineers and planning offices, and lay the foundation for an understanding of the other discipline. An introduction to different topics will be given and the knowledge will be discussed by means of case studies.

The course takes place in the course of the Industrial Building Seminar 2022(15.05.-20.05.2022). For a positive assessment, it is necessary to attend at least 3 lectures and to write a seminar paper based on these.

You must fulfill the following conditions to pass the course with a positive grade:

• Attendance at the 3 lectures (Lectures on 19.05. and Lectures on 20.05)
• Create essays including three lectures. (Submission: 20.06.2022)

This paper has to include (details apply per lecture):

• A cover sheet with name and matriculation number
• Summary of the presented contents (at least 500 words)
• Own opinion on this topic should be incorporated into the work by pointing out possible problems, suggesting solutions and pointing out additional possibilities (at least 200 words)
• Underline your own opinion through scientific research and the inclusion of sources and images in the report. (For example, in Google Scholar or similar search engines).
• The report shall be written in English or German
