After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

1) to analyze, define and apply the main features of cost planning of constructions

2) to analyze, define and apply the main features of schedule planning of constructions

3) to analyze, define and apply the main features of calculation and pricing of constructions

Flow of construction work; network analysis; estimating by engineer; cost calculation by construction company.

The methods of achieving the learning outcomes are:

0) Self-study of the material before the next lecture session

1) Lecture part + possibility to ask questions about the topics

2) Exercise examples will be provided step by step on TUWEL – self study required

3) Possibility of question after each lecture unit if anything is unclear in the exercises

4) Further examples of exercises can be worked out on the platform TISS in self-study - sample solution paths and/or final results are available in the examples

The lecture is held as a "blended learning" event.

The development of the material between the lecture units takes place in self-study.

Written exam (IT-supported) including one or more calculation examples. ATTENTION: There are only alphanumeric calculators (eg TI-30) allowed to use, programmable calculators are prohibited.

Participation requires timely registration in TISS. Students who do not meet the deadline cannot take the exam. A deregistration is possible until 2 working days before the examination date. Students who do not appear in the examination without prior deregistration are excluded from the registration for this examination for 8 weeks according to § 18a of the regulations under the study law (Newsletter 2014, 3rd edition, No. 22)
