Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to recognize ethical implications in decision-making processes in all areas of society, especially in relation to the technical sciences. You will learn and experience the ethical principles in which all cultures agree, that they can serve as orientation and as immutable standards.

Subject of course

The series of lectures, which is realized in cooperation with the initiative Weltethos Österreich, addresses the ethical aspects of ecology, climate change, transport, politics, economy and sustainable development.

Teaching methods

Discussion of the connections using concrete, practical examples.
