Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain the special requirements to be considered in the planning, project planning, construction and operation of railway lines. In addition, students can describe the important topics for project implementation, such as EIA procedures, economic and legal framework conditions as well as the basics of project management. Furthermore, the students can name various sound generation mechanisms and noise protection measures for the railway.
