After successful completion of the course, students are able to apply complex models to standard constructions and design and calculate reinforced and prestressed concrete structures. Furthermore, an understanding of special topics like the stress distribution in the concrete will be given.
Lectures on the theoretical fundamentals of prestressing technology and prestressing systems. Joint calculation of selected exercise examples (discussion if required), which demonstrate the practical application during the lecture.
The communication should take place via the TUWEL forum.
Please write your questions in the corresponding TUWEL forum. The questions will be answered by the assistants, visible for all others.
A detailed schedule and further information can be found under Documents.
Assignment in the master program Civil Engineering Science (study code: 066 505): Module 1 Tragwerke (M1 TW) as well as module module 3 (M3).
The VU is assessed via three tests, each consisting of a theoretical part and a separate calculative part. For positive completion of the VU, both parts must be passed. The tests are held in presence. Detailed information on the procedure can be found under Documents at the beginning of the semester.
For a positive completion of the VU, a total of 15 points in the theoretical part and 35 points in the calculative part must be achieved. Per test, 15 points can be achieved in the theoretical part and 35 points in the calculative part. The two best theoretical parts and the two best calculative parts are used for the evaluation.
In order to participate in the VU and in the tests, a TISS registration in the group „Anmeldung für den 1. und 2. Übungstest“ is required. To participate in the third test, a registration in the group „Anmeldung für den 3. Übungstest“ is required. Those who are not registered for the third test cannot participate in it. Old tests will be made available in TUWEL for preparation.
