This course is in at least 1 assigned curriculum part of the STEOP.

2023W, VU, 2.0h, 3.0EC

  • Semester hours: 2.0
  • Credits: 3.0
  • Type: VU Lecture and Exercise
  • Format: Online

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able  to understand the structural models in statics and dynamics and design them themselves, analyze them using the FE program ANSYS. Use ANSYS on its own for various problems.

Subject of course

- Basic principles in modeling - Material behavior modeling - Element modeling - Structural system modeling - Checking models, evaluation of results - Special models in statics and dynamics; all with FE program support

Teaching methods

Explanation of the Theoy, joint problem solving with ANSYS
