Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, students are able to put the teaching content into practice, as eg. Special Chapters of Welding Technology (laser-, electron beam-, magnetic pulse-, electro slag-, high frequency-, ultrasonic-, aluminothermic-, friction welding), fully mechanized processes and robotics, corrosion- and heat resistant steels, abrasion and protective coatings, joining of different materials, economical considerations), Excursion with demonstrations: flame cutting, brazing, plasma welding and cutting, submerged arc welding, resistance welding, friction welding, electron beam welding, laser beam welding, other welding processes
