conduct independent research on a scientific question with limited scope. The question will be on a current theoretical or practical topic in machine learning. Students will be able to describe and document their research results adequately in a written scientific thesis.

The website of our research unit contains a sample of topics that we are happy to supervise. Alternatively, you can propose scientific questions that are connected to our research interests.

Methods depend on the individual research topic. They may comprise both formal, mathematical methods as well as practical and empirical techniques.
