After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand, analyse and design energy efficienct solutions in state of the art ICT systems. We focus in particular on state of the art architectures like Cloud and Edge.

This course is cancelled. Students who have already successfully completed the course "194.048 VU Data-intensive Computing" in a previous semester should do the new version of "Data-Intensive Computing" in 2023SS - they will get a certificate for "Energy-efficient Distributed Systems" issued upon successful completion of the new version of "Data-Intensive Computing." Students who have not yet completed "Data-Intensive Computing" should contact the Vice-Dean of Academic Affairs, Allan Hanbury, to discuss a solution. This statement is only valid for Summer Semester 2023 - a long-term solution will be implemented by Winter Semester 2023.
