Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to implement a larger task from the areas of visual computing, computer graphics or visualization. Students can plan and execute a larger software project.

Subject of course

Implementation of the topics treated in the basic lectures within a larger, technically oriented software project, programming. Didactical Approach: In regular meetings with the supervisor (usually every week or every other week) the individual steps of the intended software project are discussed: requirements specification, coarse design, detailed design, implementation details, testing scenarios, result production, finishing of project documentation, debriefing. The goal is that the project is done in groups of two students each.
