Since WS 2021, we additionally provide computer courses for youths with low education in Vienna. These youths are supported by various institutions sponsored by the City of VIenna, namely WUK work.space (https://www.wuk.at/angebot/bildung-und-beratung/wuk-workspace/) and "Sprungbrett für Mädchen und junge Frauen" (https://sprungbrett.or.at/) .
The particpants of this lecture can choose in which course the want to work as "trainers". The assignment of students to the various courses will be organized via group registration in TISS. The programming courses will (depending on the interest of the course participants) probably comprise Python and/or an introduction to web programming. The basic course will be mainly about office programmes. In the courses for youths supported by the WUK work.space and the Sprungbrett, we will organize mini-workshops on various IT-relevant topics, such as e.g., responsible handling data on the web and in social media, security, Artificial Intelligence, simple Arduino programmes, office programmes, etc..
