After successful completion of the course, students are able to

• to get acquinted with the state-of-the-art on a selected research topic in the field of Visual Computing
• to develop a work plan
• to analyze methods from the scientific literature regarding their applicability
• to implement algorithms independently and evaluate the results
• to document the motivation, given task, applied methods and achieved results in an academic thesis

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to apply the knowledge and skills which were acquired during the studies to a topic that corresponds to the qualification profile of the study program. The achieved results, the given task and the methods used are presented in a written thesis.

•     Joint development of a concept at the beginning
•     Ongoing support through regular meetings
•     Correction of the bachelor thesis

• Evaluation of the final written thesis

Knowledge of a related Bachelor study program at the Faculty of Informatics. The seminar "Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten" can be carried out before or in parallel to the Bachelor thesis.
