The goal of this lectures is to show the potentials of video analysis in the area of visual surveillance. We focus on methods in the areas of motion detection, tracking, scene reconstruction and performance evaluation.
The lecture deals with the analysis of image sequences: mainly we discuss the topics sensors, motion detection, tracking, scene reconstruction and performance evaluation.
