The organisation of the course is held in the TUWEL course.
The lecture's theoretical part will be held as a presentation, which in the very beginning deals with an introduction into project management as a whole. In succession the lecture will deal with the following branches of project management:
Especially Cost, Risk and Quality Management will be presented in detail. Moreover various valuable project management techniques will be demonstrated, which are regularly used in practice. The lecture s practical part, which is composed of three separate exercises, has to be edited in groups of four students. The first exercise is to write a composition about a special project management topic to be defined by the lecture management. The second and third exercise will deal with practical project management techniques introduced in the theoretical part. The solutions of all exercises have to be firstly submitted to the lecture management via e-mail and secondly presented in a submission conversation. To conclude the lecture both the theoretical and the practical part have to be passed positively.
There is a lecture and an exercise part. The practice part consists of 3 parts, which are to be worked on in groups of 4 students each. The first part is the written elaboration of a concrete topic on a field of project management within the group. In the second and third part concrete examples of certain project management techniques presented in the lecture part have to be solved. The worked out solutions are to be handed in both by e-mail to the LVA management, as well as to explain in a personal delivery conversation.
