After successful completion of the course, students are able to recognize and establish security aspects in software projects in large IT infrastructures timely in order to achieve a sufficient level of IT security during the operation of the specific software project. Students understand how IT security is handled in large IT infrastructures and why certain security measures work or do not work in such environments.

• Nationwide Infrastructures
• Mobile Applications

In the lecture the necessary technical foundations are taught, research in depth is guided on demand, and real, large case studies are presented. In the exercises the application of different aspects of the lecture are deepened and extended in 3 single and team tasks in our IT security lab infrastructure.

Total: 75 hours (3 ECTS)

Both a lecture part and an exercise part including a CTF contest are held.
