After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the fundamentals of computer engineering. This includes understanding and applying the topics described in the content of the course. In addition, students understand the essential relationships between these topics and, therefore, have the necessary background knowledge

Learning activities comprise lectures, assignments in large and small groups, as well as three written exams.
Because of COVID-19 this can be adaped.
Preliminary meeting: Friday, Oct. 2rd 2020, 11am (c.t.), room GM1 (Audi Max), GM5 and via Live-Stream
Lectures on Tuesday in Oktober 12pm-13pm and from Noveber on 10am-12pm in room GM1 (Audi Max) and GM5.
Workload estimation (ECTS breakdown): 150 hours = 6 ECTS

To pass the course successfully it is required to pass entry-tests, to solve a certain number of homework exercises, and to get a positive assessment for the presentation of solved homework exercises during classes. In addition, a positive assessment of three written exams is required. All details about examination modalities are presented during the preliminary meeting and can be looked up in the sildes for the preliminary meeting in the TUWEL-course.
