After successful completion of the course, students are able to

• to name relevant aspects of database administration
• to reproduce the current database research for a chosen topic from the database administration area
• to find the relevant literature for a topic from database research

Selected topics in current database research with a focus on database administration

The students have to

• prepare a seminar thesis for the chosen topice
• give an oral presentation of this seminar thesis
• review 2 seminar theses of their colleagues
• reivse their own thesis based on the received reviews

Remark: The course in the WS 2022 is planned to be held in person. If required by the Covid situation, the course will be held online via Zoom at the planned dates and times.
