Nach positiver Absolvierung der Lehrveranstaltung sind Studierende in der Lage...
- properly structure and write their master thesis proposal
- properly prepare a research presentation describing results of their master thesis.
This seminar is mandatory for all other master students who complete their master studies in Logic and Computation.
This seminar involves the following tasks:
The seminar will start with an introductory lecture in March, given by the lecturers on Zoom (requirements for master thesis proposal and work).
All seminar events will take place online, via Zoom.
The seminar will consist of online meetings with students and online presentations of students, presenting results of their (upcoming) master thesis. These presentations are meant to train and support students in revising their master thesis plans/proposals and talks of their master thesis defense.
The seminar schedule will be announced in due course.
Students are required to attend the kick-off seminar event, as well as at least two of the three seminar events focused on presenting master thesis plans/proposals (at least two events from May and June 2024).
For each student, the grading will be based on the presented master thesis proposal and the student seminar talk presenting results of the master thesis.
Students need to register only to the seminar slot in which they intend to present their master thesis proposal.
Students are however expected to (online) attend at least two seminar events that host students' presentations.
Please register on TISS no later than 18.03.2024.
