Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to contribute to research projects in the area of thermal process engineering/thermal separation processes, to work independently on chemical engineering tasks as well as to execute experimental measurements.

Subject of course

Practical and project-specific study of actual problems in thermal process engineering/thermal separation processes.

Teaching methods

Experimental work, Design of Experiment (DoE), measurements at lab- or pilot-scale equipment, calculations and interpretation of test results (if appropriate supported by computer simulations).
