Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain the function of the most important ionization methods and mass analyzers as well as typical application examples in the field of biomedical engineering.

  • High resolution mass spectrometric analyzers: TOF, Orbitrap and FT-ion cyclotron resonance analyzer
