Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to evaluate synthesis methods with regard to their sustainability and to incorporate sustainability criteria in the planning of synthesis routes.

 

Subject of course

12 principles of green chemistry, green chemistry metrics (+ case studies from chemical production), organic electrochemistry, use of biomass as raw material, synthesis in continuous flow reactor, heterogeneous catalysis, agro-chemistry.
