After successful completion of the course, students are able to use basics of chemical law. They will have acquired knowledge of the following sub-areas:

• REACH, CLP and safety data sheets
• Basics of employee protection with focus on handling of chemicals as well as transport and storage
• Responsibilities in chemical law
• Special areas of chemicals law (introduction)
• Further legal matters such as environmental law, plant law, waste law, etc.
• Chemicals law in the context of the Green Deal, sustainability and related strategies.

Students are able to use the acquired knowledge for practical work and establish connections as well as concrete cases of application to the legal matter and improve their own actions in dealing with chemicals.
