After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain the following topics:

• Fundamentals of macromolecular chemistry (basic properties of polymers, synthesis methods and technical polymerization processes), as well as the production and areas of application of important polymers, polycondensates and cross-linked plastics incl polymer processing such es extrusion and injection molding
