After successful completion of the course, students are able to design and to write simple LabView programs as well as more comple LabView projects. They understand data processing in the graphical programming environment and are well trained in the communication with various hardware components. The students have reached a level of expertise that allows them to individually develop more advanced capabilities arising from the necessities of further projects.
1. Bascic concepts of graphical programming with LABVIEW 2. Generation of simple control programs 3. Practical experimental applications 4. Treatment of complex problems in measurement and experiment control
Integrated lectures and excercises, individual exercises and projects.
Students work in groups of two.
12 participants can be accepted per course, please apply by email (see application below) well in advance! Courses take place in blocked mode.
Period: see "Course dates" below - please note the indiviudal dates! Starts daily 10:00 at the Atominstitut. We offe more dates than we will presumeably need. This allows for a certein flexiblity in carrying out the course. The first day is mandatory for all participants.
The evaluation is based upon the created programs and projects.
