Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to find their way around the chart of nuclides, understand simple radiochemical methods, know about the origin of radioisotopes in the environment, select measurement methods for radioisotopes.

Subject of course

Stable and unstable nuclides, radioassay methods, natural radioactive materials, production of radionuclides, carrier free radionuclides, production and application of radioactive labelled materials, application of radioactive materials in research and industry, nuclear methods in chemical analysis.
