After successful completion of the course, students are able to comprehend the materials presented in the lecture and to draw conclusions from them, as well as to actively communicate the contents presented during the lecture.

Subject of course

The course will be held "blocked" (6 times on Monday's in WS 202/2021). There are different subjects and themes; among are:

Melting of samples: Production of amorphous metal tapes: Metallography: Generation and measuring of ultrahigh vacuum: Radiography and X-ray fluorescent analysis: Magnetic measurements: magnetization, hysteresis, magnetostiction: Mössbauer effect: Electric transport phenomena: Thermal expansion: Superconductors: Specific heat: thin films: Surface physics.
