After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the content presented in the lecture. They are also able to draw conclusions from if, and to actively communicate it to others.
Motivation, materials in the focus of present research, Landau theory of Fermi liquids, the concept of quasiparticles, elementary excitations (phonon, soliton, magnon, paramagnon, spinon, holon, etc.), interactions (electron-phonon, electron-spin, electron-photon), modern methods in solid state physics - calculation of the electronic structure.
