Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to reproduce the contents as outlined in detail in the English version of "Lehrinhalte" in written as well as in oral form. Moreover the students will be able to apply the basic concepts of this course to simple examples.

Subject of course

Perturbation Theory; Symmetries in Quantum mechanics; Measurement and density operator; Scattering theory; Quantum mechanics of many-body systems; Relativistic quantum mechanics.

Teaching methods

Lecture with a strong and active student participation.
