Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to summarise thermodynamic principles of macromolecules, to describe non-ideal behaviour, to explain kinetic processes and transport, to analyse biomembranes, to explicate the structure of lipid mono- and bilayers, to describe membranes, charges and surface potentials as well as to explain ion channels.
