Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to plan and perform a little project in the areas of science and technology comprising a few weeks work and describe the project in a short report, detailing the background of the project, the work performed including methods applied and the results obtained. The report is readable by a non-expert with training in the field of science or technology.

Planning of the practical work, needed to answer the research question or reach the development goal.

Formulation of conclusions, which are supported by the literature and the results of practical work

  •      Planning of the project including estimation of the work effort, and any necessary technical means, data, etc.
  •      Search the relevant literature
  •      Implementation of the project and overcoming of encountered obstacles and problems
  •      Concept and writiing of the report

practical guidance in the execution of the work and assistance in obtaining the necessary resources.

When working with an external partner additional support concerning the definition of the project with the partner
