Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand komplex experiments and to work with them. They should also be familiar with the basic methods and rules of conducting  scientific work.

Subject of course

The project is done in the context of current research projects in the field of nanostructures at surfaces. A well-defined scientific task should be accomplished by the student and the results should documented in a short report.

Teaching methods

The student should work on a research topic chosen from the current research program of the research work group.

The student should write a report on the project work, typically comparable to a Bachelor thesis.
