Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to are in postion to reproduce the  contnts as outlined in detail in the english version of "Lehrinhalte" in written as well as oral form. Moreover the students will be able to apply the basic concepts of Angewandte Quantenmechanik  to simple examples.

Subject of course

Schrödinger equation, Black body radiation, harmonic oscillator with applications to field quantisation and lattice vibrations, Fermi's golden rule, Bloch equations with application to NMR and laser physics, electron states with applications to chemical bonds and solids.
