Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to complete projects on the topic of laser-atom or laser-solid interaction, to study the relevant literature and to discuss current research in this field.

Subject of course

Optimization of the methods for production of high harmonics. Studies concerning production of attosecond laserpulses. Studies on propagation effects with applications to experiments.

Teaching methods

Time-dependent tight binding, time-dependent density functional theory, Green's function methods.
