Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to name types of measurement deviations, properly apply  propagation methods, apply statistical tests to assess data quality, name essential aspects of precise measurement methods for angle and distance, determine the datum of a geodetic network, describe precision and reliability in a geodetic network, outline staking out

Subject of course

Methods of engineering geodesy, uncertainty and tolerance, statistical methods, tests and calibration of geodetic instruments, precise determination of horizontal angles, distances and distance changes, setting out, special instruments for tasks related to construction and engineering (lecture in German).

Presentation using slides; Discussion of practical examples and projects
