Properties

  • Semester hours: 3.0
  • Credits: 4.5
  • Type: VO Lecture
  • Format: Hybrid

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to assess the characteristics of electrical measuring sensors and to evaluate their applicability for corresponding tasks of engineering geodetic monitoring. They know the most important models of deformation analysis and are able to detect and statistically evaluate rigid body movements and deformations in a geodetic network.

Subject of course

  • Electrical measuring sensors
  • Tiltmetre, Pendulum, Surveying gyroscopes,
  • Discussion of effects and influences on practical measuring set-ups in the laboratory - strain gauges, accelerometers, extensometers
  • Engineering Geodesy in tunnel construction,
  • Reliability Analysis
  • Deformation Analysis: Congruency Model, Affine Transformation, Introduction to Technical Mechanics und Finite Elements Method, Kinematic Kalman-Filter, Dynamic models
