Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to read and to understand an article from a scientific journal, to present the most important aspects of the article to the collegues in the course of 15 min presentation using comprehesible slides and to participate actively in a discussion afterwards.

Subject of course

Autonomous study of a scientific topic in the field of photogrammetry or remote sensing by reading recent publications. Elaboration of an oral presentation and concise handouts. Oral presentation. Each student will be accompanied by a supervisor.

In the accompanying TUWEL-course (which will be available after the 1. - 2. semester week) possible seminar topics are listed. Please have a look at them and pick the topic you are most interested in (and 1-2 substitute topics just in case). In the first meeting the topics will be assigned to the attendees and the presentation dates will be fixed. Attendance at all presentations of the chosen seminar is obligatory. 

Setup due to Covid-19:
Currently, the plan is to have meetings in person. If this is not possible, all meetings will be online (Zoom). Further details will be available in the TUWEL-course. The first meeting in person will take place on March 31, 2022 at 09:00 in Sem.R. DA grün 02 A. Attendance at all presentations of the chosen seminar is obligatory.

The course is offered in English and German language.
