After successful completion of the course, students are able to capture objects using laser scanning or image matching. Additionally, students are able to orientate and further process the capture point could by different processing methods.
The examples will be processed with OPALS during the course and further analysed by the students in small groups.
Introduction and enhanced processing with the software package OPALS, several examples will be computed during the course, self-depend execution of two exercises in small groups (exercise 1: point cloud acquisition; exercise 2: processing and analysis)
The course is a mixture of hybrid events and optional consultation hours. The first hybrid lecture (on the 5th October) is compulsory for all students. Live events and consultation hours take place at the normal course dates (Tuesday 11:00). Prerecored lectures will be made avaibable on TUWEL at the latest at the beginning of each week. Questions can be asked to the lecturer at the corresponding consultation hours Zoom meeting. For each lecture a obligatory multiple choice self assessment has to be conduced (the results, however, are not considered for grading)
