After successful completion of the course, students are able to explain scientific research questions by studying scientific papers and to answer those questions according to the state-of-the-art. They are able to research literature independetly. They are able to present the research topic in a given presentation mode, including giving an unscripted talk. They are able to defend their statements and to discuss them in depth.

Information to all students: Information about the schedule, content and allocation of topics will be given in the first class.
There will be no regular scheduled group class, but rather individual appointments, for which we can use the MapRoom!
Please note, that the first class and introduction takes place on 8.3.2024, 13:00-14:00 at the GISLab.
