Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to use the statistical open source software R. This means to use R to manipulate data, visualize data and to analyse data as well as to write own R code.

Subject of course

Through introduction to the statistical software R. Especially the different data structures and how to manipulate and visualize data.

The main focus of the statistical methods lies on estimation and testing and linear regression.

Teaching methods

Regular usage of R on the own laptop.
