After successful completion of the course, students are able to:

• choose and to apply suitable methods for the data collection for a research project.
• apply basic principles of statistical designs of experiments.
• apply approbriate methods to analyze routine surveys and to analzyse them.

Experiments and surveys will be planned, executed and anayzed using the software R.

Regular submissions of the exercises and making the final assignment.
