• judge the potential and effectiveness of fiscal and monetary policy, and differentiate between its short und medium-run effects

2) Die Entwicklung der Makroökonomie (unter Berücksichtigung der Großen Depression und der Großen Rezession);
3) Volkswirtschaftliche Gesamtrechnung (BIP, Inflationsrate und Arbeitslosenrate);
4) Der Gütermarkt und alternative Varianten des Multiplikatormodells;
5) Das IS-LM Modell (kurzfristige Auswirkungen der Geld- und Fiskalpolitik);
6) Die Rolle von Zentralbank und Finanzmärkten, im IS-LM Modell;
7) Arbeitsmarkt: Löhne, Preise und strukturelle Arbeitslosenrate;
8) Das IS-LM-PC Modell (kurz- versus mittelfristige Auswirkungen der Geld- und Fiskalpolitik);
9) Einführung in Themen der offenen Makroökonomie I (nominelle und reale Wechselkurse, Zinsparitätsgleichung, offene Güter- und Finanzmärkte);
