Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to identify problems, for which non-parametric statistic methods can be applied. Furthermore they will be capable of applying the learned methods including some programming skills in R.

Subject of course

Methods based on the empirical distribution function, density estimation, rank tests, U-statistics, asymptotic relative efficiency, resampling, implementation in R
