After successful completion of the course, students are able to check the continuity of functions, to determine derivatives and calculate integrals, to explain the concepts of differentiability and integrals, to solve linear differential equations, to carry out simple mathematical proofs.
Sequences, infinite series, elementary functions, limits and roots of functions, continuity, calculus with one variable, differentiation of functions in several variables, linear differential equations of first order, computer numerics.
Lecture with examples that illustrate the used definitions, methods, proofs, theorems, etc. Moreover solving exercises to the corresponding lecture.
Ongoing participation and written tests. One written examination after the end of the lecture.
