Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to check real sequences and series for convergence and do computations with complex numbers. They can check real functions for continuity and differentiability and explain basic properties of elementary functions (exp, sin, cos, tan, ...). Moreover, students are able to do computations with power series, apply the fundamental theorem of calculus to various problems and check improper integrals for convergence.

Sequences and series of real and complex numbers, elementary functions, power series, differential and integral calculus of functions of one real variable.
