Problem session for the course Mathematics 1 for Electrical Engineers.
Classes take place in groups of approximately 30 students. Each week a number of problems is assigned. Preparing for class by independent work on the problems is expected. In class the problems are further discussed and solved in small groups. The tutor gives advice and presents solutions of difficult problems. At the end of each class a short written test has to be taken. At the end of the semester a longer written test takes place. The score obtained in this test can be used to compensate weak scores from up to three of the short tests.
Registration for one group via TISS is mandatory.
