Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to approximately solve eigenvalue problems and time dependent partial differential equations by use of numerical approximation schemes. They will be able to quantify the approximation error as well as the convergence rate.

The participants prepare given exercise questions and present them on the blackboard.

The students must mark the exercises solved in TUWEL and will then be called upon to present their solutions on the blackboard.  The communication will be handled via TUWEL. Dates and time will be discussed at the beginning of the semester.
