After successful completion of the course, students are able to

• solve stationary partial differential equations numerically
• analyse the quality of numerical solutions
• select proper methods and implement them in a computer programme

Variational formulations, finite element methods, error analysis, ...

The participants prepare given exercise questions and present them in class

The students have to mark the solved exercises before the class in TUWEL. Some students will then be called upon to present their solutions on the blackboard.

Communication will be handled via TUWEL.

The dates and times will be fixed in the first lecture on Wednesday October 5th at 10.
