Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand and to use models for the excitation of nerves. These models are both for biological excitations as well as for neuroprothtic applications.

Subject of course

electrophysiology, membrane models, neural prostheses

Teaching methods

Biophysically descibed dynamic systems are evaluated via computer simulations
